Just when you thought you'd seen everything with the nation's first black president's plastered on it, you can now add state license plates to the list.
If bumper stickers weren't enough for your ride during the campaign season, you've got one more opportunity to show your pride and rub it in the face of your Republican friends (or enemies) as you make your daily commute.
You'll be glad to know that if you're a resident of Illinois, you can outfit your ride with a new temporary state license plate, which is good for 60 days.
Yes, just 60 days. Then you'll have to put your old plates back on. ...

The special-event plates featuring Obama will be available from now until April 17 in Illinois only. After that date, the plates will be available nationwide as a collectors item (not as a substitute for your regular plates).
They will be available for purchase (click here) for $50 a pair. (Illinois, like some other states, requires front and rear plates). Proceeds will help support iRead, a summer reading program for Illinois youth, as well as benefit libraries, referred to by President Obama as "our windows to a larger world."
Just wondering if there were special collector plates for our last president?

Maybe, just maybe we have taken this first Black African American President Syndrome too far. When President Obama signed a Bill that he, nor we understood something is wrong. This Country is in Financial Ruin and Polosi, Husband and Friends has flown off to Italy on an expensive extravaganza at the tax payers expense. STOP IT, STOP IT, JUST STOP THE STUPIDITY NOW! We have the Madoffs and Standfords running around free as a bird from embezzeling Billions of dollars from Americans, and the CEO's and Corporate Thieves who has taken TARP money from the average American tax payer for their own personal gain in bonus, retreats, and traveling expense. Where is the transparency and accoutibility? We have those
Republicans in the House and Senate who voted against the stimulus who now have their State and Local Governments with their hands out. NO, NO, NO, you get nothing. Someone needs to put their foot down to break the GRID in Washington and it must be one or the other President Obama or the Constituients. America needs to be transformed from its old behavior and not rewarded.

YES...This is crazy...Washington is abusing everything thier position and OUR MONEY...crooks are running free after stealing billions...if it were anyone else as President the whole counrty would be running around after him like a lynch mob...It's the President and he is black BIG DEAL...all this whoop la is only going to make him look worse because everyone's expectations are way too high...name one president that he didn't hate after the first year...Let be fair...They all crooks...that why they work 100 days a year and make millions on top of their government pay..THINK ABOUT IT...we all look like abunch of idiots chasing some crazy idea we have about someone we do not know except he can have the heat at 80 degrees since we are paying the bill along with Nancy visiting the Pope in here taxpayer super long haul Jet...now is That Fair to the people they SERVE the publis i.e Public Servant (an elected official)...lets abuse somemore Washington...this is the fall of the Roman Empire but in modern times...Sad Sad...what have we done...what will are children and grand children think of us after we destroyed one of the greatest nations ever...

license plates HAHHAHHAHAHAHA... Personal, I have an Obama pic painted in my toilet bowl and a Joe Biden pic right next to the paper roll. That way every time I take an Obama, I wipe my Biden and Flush it. When I'm done, I close the door and don't have to think about them until next time.
