Gollywood "it" girl Paris Hilton has finally decided to park her custom $200,000 Pepto-Bismol-pink Bentley Continental GT. Instead, you just might catch a glimpse of Paris "profiling" around Cali in her new eco-friendlier black Cadillac Escalade hybrid.
Paris' new giant GM green machine is rated at 20 mpg/city and 21 mpg/hwy. On the flip side, the Bentley offered 10 mpg/city and 17 mpg/hwy, so the new ride is undoubtedly better, environmentally speaking.
It certainly is admirable that our lil' Paris has become a bonafide treehugger. Maybe she's even trying to tone down her once-wild antics. Either way, there are quite a few noteworthy pluses here:
The car is made in the old U.S. of A, it's roomy enough to haul around her crew of hot BFFs and is, without a doubt, kinder to the environment. The SUV is also high enough off the ground, which translates into fewer unwelcomed "private peeks" as Paris and her babe battalion try to gracefully slide out of the vehicle without stirring up a paparazzi commotion.
Hey Paris, this move is definitely a green-ish hue of hot!

How is 20mpg considered "green"? Is this GM's idea for recovery?...make the same crap that nearly drove them out of business in the first place...only this time, put a green leaf on it, charge more money, and get celebrities like Paris to endorse it! Good idea GM, at this rate you'll need another bail out in 5 years!!!
