No, this headline is not a typo! Dennis LeRoy Anderson, 62, motorized his La-Z-Boy recliner with a lawnmower, powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine. Anderson also added bling to his comfy ride by hooking it up with custom options, various power levels, a smooth stereo and cupholders.
According to police, the Proctor, Minn., chair motorist drank nine beers at a local bar and had intended to cruise home in his recliner back in August of 2008. Instead, the tipsy inventor crashed his chair in to a parked car. Luckily, he did not sustain any injuries. At the time, Anderson had a blood alcohol level of 0.29, which adds up to more than three times the legal limit.
Anderson, who has one prior DWI conviction, added another to his police record and copped a DWI guilty plea in a St. Louis County District Court. He was fined $1,000 and slapped with two years probation.
Let me get at my Barcalounger!

LIKE THIS WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE. CAR, CHAIR, YOU HIT IT YOU PAY FOR IT. IF I SAW HIM ON THE STREET, HE WOULD NEVER HAVE MADE IT TO THE BAR BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE CALLED POPO ON HIM!

He really should patent this chair. I wouldn't mind having one.
